The perfect place for a family holiday, Club Farret not only benefits from a great beach. On-site you’ll also find a wonderful, pirate-themed swimming pool complex which offers 2 swimming pools, water fountains, bridges, a sauna, jacuzzi and spa although please note that there are no water slides.
There’s a great range of facilities and activities on site including a variety of sports such as a gym, basketball, tennis and much more.
One of the great things about Club Farret is it’s excellent location. The campsite is near to Vias Plage which offers a great range of activities, bars, restaurants and shops and there are also some great places to see and things to do nearby including the Cap d’Agde aquarium, Aqualand and Europark which boasts the largest roller coaster in the south of France.

Meze Dinosaur Museum Park
The Dinosaur Museum Park is at Meze approximately 28km to the northeast of Club Farret campsite. The museum is all about dinosaurs and has life-sized models throughout a woodland area.
The museum is extremely well laid out with plenty for children to see. The park is possibly not that well suited for older teenagers but youngsters interested in dinosaurs should love it. As well as the life sized dinosaurs, you’ll find a wealth of information and you can also have fun finding dinosaur eggs and bones in the sand pit and there’s also a lovely sheltered picnic area, cafe and shop.
Agde
Agde is the closest village to Club Farret lying just 8km to the east of Club Farret campsite. It is one of the oldest villages in France, dating back to around 575BC and like it’s neighbour Beziers, boasts a wonderful range of places to see and things to do. Agde consists of two main parts, the village and the beach resort of Cap d’Agde. At Agde itself you’ll find a great variety of shops, restaurants, bars and cafes along with some lovely architecture and it’s 12 Century cathedral. Cap d’Agde’s on the other hand boasts some wonderful beaches including it’s famous naturist section where both cameras and of course clothing is banned. You’ll also find some popular attractions such at the aquarium and the fantastic Aqualand water park.
Europark
Europark is one of the closest attractions to Club Farret campsite lying just 1.5km to the north. It is open only during the evenings and is France’s largest fixed fair ground where you can experience a variety of rides.
As well as the rides, Europark features a selection of food establishments including a large restaurant. The rides and attractions cover an area of approximately 6 hectares and include things for all ages to enjoy. Younger children will love the pony rides, go carts and toy trains but to name a few and the older thrill seekers amongst you will enjoy the largest roller coaster on the south coast of France, ejection seat ride, river ride and many, many more.
Grotte de Clamouse
The Grotte de Clamouse is a magical system of caves which can are around 60km to the northeast of Club Farret campsite. The caves were discovered in 1945 and have since been designated as a site of scientific note by the Ministry of Ecology. Grotte de Clamouse are different to many other cave systems due to the range and variety of formations that are located within, including the usual stalactites and stalagmites along with fistulas, draperies and many more. One of the main rooms, the Cathedral du Temps boasts a wonderful light show which really shows the cave and formations in all their splendour. To make the most of your day you’ll also find outside the caves a playground for children, picnic area and a snack shop although we always recommend taking your own picnic.
